There will be a special function on Monday 13th September at 5.00pm at the Red Rotunda Room at the State Library of Victoira to farewell three long standing Library Managers who have recently retired or will do so soon. They are Karen Ward Smith from City of Greater Dandenong, Anne Rassmussen from Stonnington and Chris Payne from Mitchell.

A Change at Frankston
Beck Henshall will be leaving Frankston Library Service on 27 August to take up a position with Life Works, a non-profit organisation based in the city. She will conduct leadership training and provide negotiation and mediation services to a range of organisations.
Beck will be attending lunch at the PLVN Annual General Meeting on 14 September so we will be able to farewell her then
Kim Kearsey, well known to many through her work with the Community Access Subcommittee, Gulliver Workgroup and the LLV User Group, to name a few, has been appointed acting Manager of Frankston City Libraries, at least until November when the position will be advertised externally. Congratulations Kim!
Corangamite CEO

Roslyn Cousins has been appointed CEO of the Corangamite Regional Library and will take up her positon on 5 July. Roslyn was previously Manager of Library Services in Toowoomba Queensland and has had also held senior positions at Alice Springs and in South Australia.
In other news from Corangamite Briengan Rogers from East Gippsland has been appointed Operations Manager for the next twelve months - replacing Sally Wade who is going on maternity leave from 16 July.
