Summer Reading Club 2017

New to the SRC?

NEW 'how to' resources!

Are you new to the SRC? Or looking for ways to enhance your program? Perhaps this the first time delivering the SRC in your space?

A suite of new resources have been created as short, practical guides to assist those delivering Summer Reading Club programs.

  • The SRC programming guide – a tool to reference during the planning, marketing and delivery phases of your SRC programming.

  • 7 x Quick reference guides – extracts from the full SRC Programming Guide focused on key activities in the SRC planning cycle.

To maintain the currency of these resources your feedback is welcomed and appreciated.

Suggestions for tracking participant registrations and logging books are also available for your consideration.

NEW: Graphic Suite for Teens

Looking for a way to reach out to the teen readers in your communities?

As a trial for 2017, a second visual campaign targeted to connect and entice participation from your teen cohort, has been illustrated by Michael Lee, Library Assistant at Griffith City Library in NSW.

Michael's amazing illustrations for GAME ON reinterpreted, depict a gaming face-off between a digital video gamer and controller on the left and a tabletop gamer with his dice on the right.

A Facebook banner, Facebook tile, a poster and character images are available for download from the SRC Dropbox.

Thanks Michael!
